| Rider (Lucky Thirteen) is the first oil painting I've ever made. I began with sketches in February and completed it in April. |
It's a self portrait, based on a photograph taken when I was 16 months old.I incorporated scenery from a visit to the Grand Canyon I took in 2002.

I kept a photographic record of the progress I made as I went along, and turned those pictures into a video called Rider Develops.
